While Legacy Academy's victory against Logan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Silverbacks had just enough and edged out the Longhorns 3-2 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Silverbacks, who have now won ten contests in a row.

Legacy Academy took Logan into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-16, 25-14, 26-28, 15-4.

Among those leading the charge was Raelynn Trujillo, who had 11 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matches.

Trujillo wasn't the only good servers: Legacy Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Logan, they moved to 16-3 with that loss, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Coming up, Legacy Academy will welcome Monte Del Sol Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Logan, they will head out on the road to challenge Tournament Opponent on November 1.
