Football Recap: Brentwood Takes a Loss

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Brentwood was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 34-6 defeat at the hands of the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions. The Spartans were not able to make up for their loss to the Centurions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Samir Crosby was his usual excellent self, rushing for 63 yards and three scores for Greensburg Central Catholic.

Brentwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brentwood will square off against Frazier at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will be up against the Commodores' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.8 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Greensburg Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to square off against Riverview at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
