Volleyball Recap: Port St. Lucie Takes a Loss

Port St. Lucie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Okeechobee Brahmans. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Brahmans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Port St. Lucie took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-7, 25-21.

Port St. Lucie's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Okeechobee, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

Looking ahead, Port St. Lucie will challenge Somerset College Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Okeechobee, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Westwood at 6:00 p.m.
