Basketball Game Preview: West Valley Rams vs. Davis Pirates

West Valley is 1-9 against Davis since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The West Valley Rams will head out to square off against the Davis Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with West Valley sitting on three straight wins and Davis on 11.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Valley beat Eisenhower 44-39.

Meanwhile, Davis humbled Wenatchee with an 82-22 victory. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Davis pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.2 points. As for West Valley, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

West Valley ended up a good deal behind Davis when the teams last played on February 1st, losing 62-45. Can West Valley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
