Divine Savior Holy Angels strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Brookfield Central Lancers with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Divine Savior Holy Angels also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-14.

Divine Savior Holy Angels had a senior duo take command as Gail Buckner had 23 digs and four assists and Kaitlyn Jones had four digs and four aces. Jones also set a new season-high mark in assists with 28.

Brookfield Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carolyn Gauntt, who had four digs and three aces, and Jazmine Garcia, who had two aces. Those aces were Garcia's first of the season.

Divine Savior Holy Angels' victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Brookfield Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
