Temescal Canyon came tearing into Friday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West Valley Mustangs an 11-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 25-0 back in April.

JESSENIA MOORE looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, BREA TILLERY was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of CIARA BABCOCK, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Temescal Canyon hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive games.

Temescal Canyon's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for West Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Temescal Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Valley, they will welcome Elsinore at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
