After losing to Columbus the last time they met, Lodi decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 12-1 win on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Blue Devils have won by exactly 11 runs.

Lodi has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Columbus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Lodi didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-7 draw against Edgewood on the 30th. Hopefully Columbus paid attention to the Blue Devils' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Blue Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
