Basketball Recap: Scappoose Takes a Loss

Scappoose was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Helens Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-29 back in January.

Scappoose's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. Helens, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.

While Scappoose had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
