Softball Recap: Hopewell Titans vs. Mallard Creek Mavericks
Hopewell scored the most runs they've had all season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 31-27 to the Mallard Creek Mavericks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (17), Hopewell still had to take the loss.
Hopewell got a massive performance out of Kaylin Nelson, who scored four runs while getting on base in all six of her plate appearances. Peyton Manor was another key contributor, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
