Atascadero extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Cara Howes. The Greyhounds came out on top against the Coastal Christian Conquerors by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Howes, who had 15 assists. She has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played.

While Atascadero won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22.

Atascadero's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Coastal Christian, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their 12-match winning streak.

Atascadero has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Garces Memorial on the 27th. As for Coastal Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Nipomo on the 27th.
