Softball Preview: Malad Dragons vs. Soda Springs Cardinals
Malad is 10-0 against Soda Springs since May of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Malad Dragons will head out on the road to square off against the Soda Springs Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. Malad is looking to tack on another W to their 12-game streak on the road dating back to last season.

Riglee Peterson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over four innings pitched. Peterson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Peterson was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Hallie Horsley was excellent, going 2-for-3 with a triple, a run, and a double. Aubrey Shulz was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Soda Springs lost 10-4 to Bear Lake on Friday. Soda Springs has not had much luck with Bear Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
