Basketball Recap: Western Brown Takes a Loss

Western Brown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 79-45 loss at the hands of the Chillicothe Cavaliers. The Broncos lost against the Cavaliers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 60-49 score last time.

Western Brown's record now sits at 5-13. As for Chillicothe, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Brown won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Anderson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.5 points per game this season. As for Chillicothe, they will host Central Crossing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
