Baseball Recap: DeForest Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for DeForest's offense. They came up short against the Milton Red Hawks on Tuesday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Norskies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The loss snapped DeForest's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-6 record. As for Milton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

DeForest will venture away from home to challenge Middleton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Milton will be paying especially close attention to the Norskies' game: after the Norskies face off against the Cardinals, they'll take on Milton again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
