Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Christian School Crusaders vs. St. George's Dragons

The Northwest Christian School Crusaders are taking a road trip to square off against the St. George's Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Northwest Christian School has six straight victories, St. George's has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Northwest Christian School humbled Riverside with a 71-38 victory. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, St. George's lost to Chewelah on the road by a 59-44 margin on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Dragons came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Cougars are ranked 283rd).

Northwest Christian School has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for St. George's, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Northwest Christian School was able to grind out a solid win over St. George's in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 58-46. Will Northwest Christian School repeat their success, or does St. George's have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
