Softball Game Preview: Myrtle Point Bobcats vs. Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs

The Myrtle Point Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Myrtle Point is looking for their season's first victory.

Meanwhile, Umpqua Valley Christian made easy work of Oakridge on Friday and carried off a 21-4 win. That looming 21-4 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Monarchs yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Umpqua Valley Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for Myrtle Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
