Softball Recap: Sneads Comes Up Short

Sneads fell victim to Altha and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 20-0 to the Wildcats. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Sneads' loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Altha, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Sneads will take on Chiles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Timberwolves will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Altha, they will host Leon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 12.7 runs per game this season.
