Recap: Killeen Kangaroos vs. Vista Ridge Rangers
This season hasn't been kind to the Killeen Kangaroos, who are still winless after their eighth match. They took a hard 58-41 fall against Vista Ridge on Friday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vista Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Howard, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Luke Berry, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds.
Killeen's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Vista Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Killeen will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Round Rock Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Round Rock Westwood will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Vista Ridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Cedar Creek at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cedar Creek's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven matchups.
