Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Comes Up Short

Lighthouse Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Panorama Pythons. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pythons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Lighthouse Christian took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 18-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Lighthouse Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Panorama, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Lighthouse Christian will challenge Grace at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, Panorama and Van Nuys will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Pythons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
