Preview: Plains Horsemen vs. Lincoln County Lions
The Plains Horsemen on the road again on Friday and play against the Lincoln County Lions at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Plains' defense has only allowed 28.6 points per game this season, so Lincoln County's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Friday, Plains earned a 43-33 win over Alberton.
Meanwhile, Lincoln County blew past Troy, posting a 59-10 win on the road. The victory was just what Lincoln County needed coming off of a 83-40 loss in their prior contest.
Kara Stanger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Miller, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Plains' record is now 7-2. Lincoln County's record is now 3-5.
Plains came up short against Lincoln County in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 54-45. Can Plains avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
