Basketball Recap: Cut Bank Takes a Loss

Cut Bank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Belt Huskies, falling 57-23. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Cut Bank's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cut Bank won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Stillwater Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Belt, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Great Falls Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
