Volleyball Recap: West Morgan Takes a Loss

West Morgan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Golden Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Morgan may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

West Morgan's defeat dropped their record down to 17-22. As for Russellville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-13 record this season.

West Morgan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Russellville, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against St. John Paul II on the 4th.
