Baseball Recap: St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders vs. St. Agnes Aggies
St. Agnes hit St. Croix Lutheran with a six-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Crusaders fell 13-8 to the Aggies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-5 back in April.
Noah Little made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 5-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Noah Schmeling was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
This is the second loss in a row for St. Croix Lutheran and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for St. Agnes, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Coincidentally, St. Croix Lutheran and St. Agnes will both be playing Nova Classical Academy the next time they take the field. The Aggies will head out to face the Knights at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Crusaders will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
