            Volleyball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Eagles vs. Johnson County Longhorns        
        
		
        
        
            Tri-Cities Christian lost against Johnson County back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of  3-2. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Longhorns  25-15 in the first  set.
 Tri-Cities Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (107-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-20, 16-25, 26-24,  15-13.
 Haley Adams paced Tri-Cities Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Adams got some help from  Emma Brown and her 26 assists.
Tri-Cities Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Johnson County, their win  ended  a  five-match drought at home  and  bumped them up to 6-10.
 Looking ahead, Tri-Cities Christian will welcome Varsity Opponent  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Johnson County, after both having extra time off, they and Elizabethton will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
