Soccer Recap: Oakland Tech Takes a Loss

If Oakland Tech was feeling good fresh off their 7-2 takedown of Leadership Public Schools Richmond last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oakland Tech Bulldogs fell just short of Leadership by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The shutout was out of character for the Bulldogs seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Oakland Tech's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Leadership, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakland Tech will take on Fremont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fremont will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Oakland Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Leadership, they will challenge Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leadership is facing Skyline at the right time seeing as Skyline is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
