Westlake won the last time they faced Grand Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Westlake Rams walked away with a 55-48 win over the Grand Lake Hornets. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Hornets are ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Westlake's record is now 11-5-1. As for Grand Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.
