Softball Recap: David Crockett Triumphs

While David Crockett put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Grainger. The Pioneers came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Grizzlies: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Madelyn Dulaney, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Grainger off the board. Dulaney has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, David Crockett saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Corum, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

David Crockett's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Grainger, their loss dropped their record down to 17-20.

As of now, neither David Crockett nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
