Basketball Recap: Wewoka Comes Up Short

Wewoka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Silo Rebels, falling 57-34. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Rebels are ranked 162nd).

Wewoka's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Silo, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4.

Wewoka will square off against Anadarko at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anadarko will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wewoka surely won't give up without a fight. Silo has already played their next match, a 55-18 win against Luther on the 8th.
