Basketball Game Preview: White Bear Lake Bears vs. Stillwater Ponies

White Bear Lake is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Stillwater is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The White Bear Lake Bears will welcome the Stillwater Ponies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Bear Lake has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.

Last Tuesday, White Bear Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Cretin-Derham Hall and fell 74-71. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Bears still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Stillwater hadn't done well against East Ridge recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Stillwater strolled past East Ridge with points to spare, taking the game 50-31.

Stillwater has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for White Bear Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-12.
