Moore had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They put the hurt on the Yukon Millers with a sharp 8-2 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lions have posted against the Millers since March 29, 2021.

Moore pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Yukon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
