Football Recap: Chatsworth Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Chatsworth's offense. They were outmatched by the San Fernando Tigers and fell 32-0. The Chancellors just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row dating back to last season.

San Fernando's win on Wednesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Fatima Palafox, who threw for 200 yards and four TDs. The Tigers' leading receiver Angella Hoyuela was Palafox's top target yet again, picking up 115 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Chatsworth's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for San Fernando, their record now sits at 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chatsworth will host Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on September 5. As for San Fernando, they will welcome Arleta at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
