Preview: St. Frederick Warriors vs. Ouachita Christian Eagles
St. Frederick has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Ouachita Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, St. Frederick ended up a good deal behind Lincoln Prep and lost 58-41. St. Frederick has struggled against Lincoln Prep recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Ouachita Christian pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 67-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cedar Creek. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Friday (55), Ouachita Christian still had to take the loss.
St. Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Ouachita Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-13.
Everything went St. Frederick's way against Ouachita Christian when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as St. Frederick made off with a 72-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Frederick since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
