Soccer Recap: Clear Brook Comes Up Short

Clear Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-0 to the Clear Lake Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in February.

Clear Brook's loss dropped their record down to 5-18-1. As for Clear Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-2 record this season.

Clear Brook will square off against Brazoswood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clear Brook has given up an average of 4.4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Clear Lake, they will take on Clear Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Falls will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Clear Lake surely won't give up without a fight.
