Football Recap: St. Thomas More Falls to St. Frances Academy in First Game of Season

St. Thomas More had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were beaten by the St. Frances Academy Panthers 60-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Chancellors in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The victory (which was St. Frances Academy's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Thomas More will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on The St. James Performance Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for St. Frances Academy, they will face off against Hun at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
