Volleyball Recap: Barlow's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Barlow can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the South Salem Saxons on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Leading South Salem to victory were Ellenia Setzer and Leah Ioane. Setzer had 12 digs and one assist, while Ioane had four digs and two aces.

Barlow moved to 15-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak. As for South Salem, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-7-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Barlow nor South Salem have any future games scheduled.
