Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Camp Wildcats vs. Knox Central Panthers

Lynn Camp hasn't had much luck against Knox Central recently, but that could start to change on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m.

Lynn Camp lost 65-44 to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Knox Central came tearing into last Thursday's game with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.1 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 50-40 win over the Colonels. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Colonels are ranked 64th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lynn Camp's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Knox Central, their victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-4.

Lynn Camp took a serious blow against Knox Central when the teams last played back in January, falling 76-19. Can Lynn Camp avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
