It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seminole had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Mineral Wells Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.

Obed Reyes made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Reyes was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Seminole let Michael Ray and Stephen Davis run wild. Ray went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Davis went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycen Robledo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Seminole hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in nine consecutive games.

Seminole's victory bumped their record up to 29-7. As for Mineral Wells, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 19-11-2 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rams beat Seminole by a score of 7-2 later that day.
