Volleyball Recap: Yoncalla Takes a Loss

Yoncalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Yoncalla's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Yoncalla will head out to face off against Pacific at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Umpqua Valley Christian has already played their next match (against Milo Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
