Basketball Game Preview: Mascenic Regional Vikings vs. Farmington Tigers

The Mascenic Regional Vikings will face off against the Farmington Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Mascenic Regional came up short against Mount Royal Academy and fell 38-28. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Farmington faced Newmarket in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Farmington put the hurt on Newmarket with a sharp 48-28 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Farmington has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Mascenic Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
