Volleyball Recap: Shafter Generals vs. Wasco Tigers
Shafter waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Wasco Tigers 3-0. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
Shafter can attribute much of their success to Emily Pugh, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Pugh a new career-high.
Shafter's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3-1. As for Wasco, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5.
