Basketball Recap: Long Beach's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Long Beach can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 49-44 W over the George County Rebels. For the Bearcats, this counts as revenge for the 59-51 victory the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Long Beach's win bumped their record up to 6-19. As for George County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Long Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Greene County at 7:30 p.m.
