Recap: Denver Jewish Day Tigers vs. Front Range Baptist Falcons

The Denver Jewish Day Tigers came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 71-61 victory over Front Range Baptist. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Leading Denver Jewish Day to victory were Lev Friedman and Keenan Winnerman. Friedman scored 25 points along with five rebounds, while Winnerman almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Friedman has scored all season. Solly Bielsky was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

When it comes to explaining why Front Range Baptist lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alex Prelog. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Prelog has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mark Sutton, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Denver Jewish Day's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Front Range Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
