Basketball Game Preview: Plaquemine Green Devils vs. Walker Wildcats

The Plaquemine Green Devils will venture away from home to take on the Walker Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Plaquemine will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Plaquemine blew past East Feliciana, posting a 60-20 victory. The match marked the Green Devils' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Walker suffered their closest loss since December 28, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of French Settlement by a score of 69-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (56), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Plaquemine pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Walker, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Plaquemine strolled past Walker in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 62-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plaquemine since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
