After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Mount Olive was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of Pope John XXIII by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Marauders have suffered since May 18, 2024.

Mount Olive's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Pope John XXIII, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-10.
