Basketball Game Preview: Palmyra Panthers vs. Burlington City Blue Devils

The Palmyra Panthers will kick their season off against the Burlington City Blue Devils on Friday. Tip off is scheduled at 5:15 p.m.

On Thursday, Burlington City was fully in charge, breezing past Riverside 80-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.

As for Palmyra, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (14-9), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Palmyra was taken down by Burlington City 80-52 when the teams last played back in January of 2020. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Palmyra was down 43-19.
