Crisp County is 9-1 against Peach County since September of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Crisp County Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Peach County Trojans at 11:00 a.m.

Crisp County's hitters might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Pierce County on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Bears. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gracie Martin was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with three RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Alyssa Smith was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was Taleyah Marable, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Peach County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .783. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westover only posted an OBP of .167.

Crisp County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Peach County, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
