Softball Recap: Pinkerton's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

After flying high against Merrimack last Wednesday, Pinkerton came back down to earth. The Astros fell just short of the Spaulding Red Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Astros were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pinkerton fell to 8-1. As for Spaulding, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-6-1.

Pinkerton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-1 win against Winnacunnet on the 7th. As for Spaulding, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Exeter on the 7th.
