Volleyball Recap: Stevenson Takes a Loss

Stevenson lost against Carmel back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Padres. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stevenson was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-23, 25-18.

Stevenson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carmel, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevenson will take on Watsonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Carmel, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
