Volleyball Recap: Oak Creek Gets the Win

Oak Creek won the last time they faced Wisconsin Lutheran and things went their way on Saturday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Oak Creek can attribute much of their success to Claire Mank, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Mank has posted over her last seven matches.

Despite the loss, Wisconsin Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addy Abramowski had seven digs and two assists.

Oak Creek's win bumped their record up to 20-13. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 22-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Creek will welcome Arrowhead at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wisconsin Lutheran, they will host Pius XI Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
