Baseball Recap: North Saxons vs. El Segundo Eagles
North extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 8-12 in the process. They fell 8-5 to the El Segundo Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

Justin Olivar put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
Olivar wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Sei Nagashima, who went 2-for-4 with one run.
