Basketball Game Preview: Lebanon Tigers vs. Perry Meridian Falcons

The Lebanon Tigers will take on the Perry Meridian Falcons in a tournament on Thursday. Perry Meridian took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lebanon, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Lebanon strolled past Beech Grove with points to spare, taking the game 50-36.

Meanwhile, Perry Meridian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 52-33 bruising from Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Braves are ranked 126th).

Perry Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Lebanon, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Lebanon and Perry Meridian were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but Lebanon came up empty-handed after a 36-35 loss. Can Lebanon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
